Fat Transfer To Male Pectorals
Remember the guy you used to see working out at the gym every week whose chest seemed to swell and increase in size with every bench press repetition? Remember the frustration of noticing that the weights on his bar were lower than yours, but his pectorals somehow seemed bigger?
The fact is some men are able to build the appearance of bulk more easily than others. Some men can work out two or three times as much as others and never see much increase in the contours of their chest or much decrease in their waist. Genetics and age both play an enormous role in your ability to sculpt your body to the shape you want, and it isn’t uncommon for either one of them to put their foot down and refuse to let your appearance reflect the effort you put into it.
If you have ever looked through a list of plastic surgery procedures for men and considered pectoral implants and liposuction, you should know that an exciting alternative to pectoral implants is being made possible because of liposuction. The transfer of fat to male pectorals is a new use of a proven procedure. For years plastic surgeons have been using unwanted fat from individual’s waist, stomach, legs and derriere to plump and fill the face, providing a more youthful appearance. Now the same procedure is available for men who are unhappy with their pectorals.
During a fat transfer to male pectorals the plastic surgeon performs liposuction on the areas of your body that exercise has been unable to affect. The unwanted fat, which is free of the risk of an allergic reaction because it has been made by your body, is then injected in a series of small incisions into the top section of your pectorals, giving them a “lift.”
A fat transfer to your pectorals differs from pectoral implants in several ways aside from the procedure. Some of the benefits are:
- No threat of an allergic reaction
- No foreign substance implanted into your body
- Fat transfer looks and feels completely natural
- Fat transfer increases your pectorals and decreases unwanted fat
While a fat transfer to your pectorals will not increase your muscle mass, it will give the appearance of a firmer, more toned chest.
