Grand Rapids Dentists Merge Practices

Van Haren Family Dentistry, a general dentist in Grand Rapids, Michigan, acquired the practice of Grand Rapids dentist Dr. Robert Bochniak on March 1st, 2009.  The merger is a win-win-win for Dr. Bochniak, Van Haren Family Dentistry, and patients.  Dr. Bochniak will continue to see his patients at Van Haren Family Dentistry for 6-12 months while transitioning to full retirement.  Patients will experience a smooth transfer of care to Grand Rapids dentist Dr. Ryan Van Haren.

Dr. Bochniak stated in a letter to patients, “It has been my privilege to have been able to take care of your dental health.  I have been fortunate to have so many wonderful patients.  However, the time has come for my retirement.  I will miss you all greatly.”

According to Dr. Van Haren, “Dr. Bochniak has provided the Grand Rapids community with many years of quality dentistry, personal service, and great care.  I expect to continue in this tradition.  I look forward to not only providing for dental needs, but also to getting to know Dr. Bochniak’s patients as individuals.”

Dr. Van Haren adds, “I am happy to call upon my experience to provide quality care.  I can provide a full range of dental services, including general and family dentistry, cosmetics, implants, and more.  I look forward to applying all of my skills to Dr. Bochniak’s patients.”

Greg McGlaun from Proveer Practice Management is working with both dentists on the dental practice transition in Grand Rapids.  Mr. McGlaun observes the merger is still fresh but so far successful.  "The fit between the practices in this merger is great.  Both dentists built their practices to foster relationships and serve patients.”
