How to Cure an Ear Infection
Ear infections can be both annoying and painful, and most people experience them from time to time. Sometimes these infections accompany a cold, but they can also happen suddenly and without any warning. I get them frequently, and especially at winter time so I have gathered up some good advice that I use to try to cure it myself. Usually there's no need to rush to the doctor, as most times these infections cure themselves. However, if they are left untreated they might give you serious health problems so to consult a physician is always a good thing. Antibiotics are sometimes necessary, and will help you get rid of the ear infection faster.
Two drops of this warm mixture can be put inside an infected ear three times a day (if the eardrum has never been punctured or perforated). A secondary method to further ease the pain and pressure, rub some of this mixture onto the inside and outside of the ear itself and on the affected side of the neck (the area of the lymph nodes). An even faster secondary method to relieve the pain and pressure is to get the mixture hot, add a few drops of this mixture to a little hot water, dip in a clean cloth, and use the cloth as a compress. Be careful that it is not hot enough to burn.
The easiest way to begin treating and preventing ear infections is diluted white vinegar. I use 1 part white vinegar to 1 part water for diluting. A cheap squeeze bottle with a nozzle is the easiest way to apply. (Pouring just gets you and the dog soaked and reeking of vinegar). This changes the pH in your dog's ear canal and helps with most yeast infection ear problems.
The area from the eardrum to the outer part becomes inflamed and is very painful, sometimes a fever may be developed. Otitis media affects the area inside the eardrum and all the small bones, the air pressure is regulated in this area by the auditory tube running from the ear to the back of the nasal cavity, when bacteria or a virus gets in this area, the different parts become inflamed with fluid, causing pressure and extremely sharp pain in the ear with fever.
Cut a small tube, or plug shape piece of fresh garlic bulb.Wrap that piece in tissue.3. Place the wrapped garlic into the ear canal. Don't shove it down in there deeply, you just want it resting in the opening like an ear plug.

if you can, eliminate from your diet for a period of time milk, wheat, corn, meat, and soy. Many people are allergic to some of these foods or they are hard to digest robbing the body of energy that could be used for healing instead. Give it time. Most illnesses will heal in time with minor adjustment in diet and lifestyle.
Low humidity may be a contributing factor in chronic ear infections with fluid behind the eardrum. A possible explanation is that low humidity may induce nasal swelling and reduce drainage of the Eustachian tube, or it may dry the hairs out in the Eustachian tube, leading to dysfunction and resulting in increased mucus.
